Who is this workshop likely to benefit?

  1. Dogmatic belief systems: For those who live with rigid and false beliefs and feel unhappy, confused and who are full of contradictions because of them.

  2. Loss of faith: For those who have been deeply disappointed by life and cannot understand what causes such injustice or why it happens.

  3. Anger toward God: For people who, due to the injustices in the world, believe that God must be evil and intends to harm us.

  4. How to bring the power and presence of God into your life: A look at how the ancient sages of India understood God and spirituality in contrast to our human limitations.

  5. So-called perfectionists of “spirituality”: For those who rigidly follow strict rules in order to reach what they believe to be “full consciousness”, only to have hardship in life and yet always feel not good enough or perfect. Added to it the feeling of being on a completely wrong path.

  6. Perfectionists in worldly matters: Those who grew up with the pressure to achieve a lot, but have nothing else in life beyond that.

  7. Being a human being doesn’t feel like enough: For those who seek possibilities beyond our human limitations, such as space travelling or any other extreme venture

  8. Reconnecting with your human nature: Moving away from the trivialities of this strange world and toward a more intense and authentic way of being.

Samkhya explained

Samkhya is a beautiful way to describe how life works. All life, the entire nature. I love the simple way it explains things. It also dispels dogmas (things we firmly believe in, but are not true). It provides evidence for what is not true. Proof that something is merely imagined (not understood) and cannot be true. It is not true because it violates the laws of nature.

That's a bold claim. How can one say such a thing?

By learning to observe and understand nature. One must have an interest and curiosity in it, like a child. Then it becomes fun, and you also learn like a child. With enthusiasm, joy, happiness, with a lot of energy. Have you ever seen a child in nature who is not curious? It wants to explore and discover everything.

When we engage with Samkhya (learn), we do exactly that. The knowledge (what we learn from it) makes us come alive again. And it's child's play. Suddenly, we understand why we feel suddenly alive again.

In the case of Chakra-psychology & Swadyaya, we do this mainly to make ourselves feel good. Especially when we are not doing well, we no longer live in accordance with nature, no longer in accordance with our nature. Even though this might not be our fault.

What can Chakra psychology & Swadyaya offer you and what we cannot offer?

At Chakra psychology & Swadyaya, we do not want participants to become dependent on us on the long run. Even though it is nice to see happier participants again at a later date, we want them to be fully independent. The goal is to give everyone some of our knowledge for their life's journey. In the case of Samkhya, to find out whether something is good for your nature or not. Whether something benefits you or not.

Therefore, we ask you not to expect a long therapy. Because we work in groups, we cannot provide personal guidance on your journey. Be aware that individuals do not receive undivided attention. Working with others in a group is often much more effective (helps more) anyway.

The following is of the utmost importance: You must be able to enthuse yourself for Samkhya, like a child. Because that's how you learn these laws of nature and the ones of our own nature. Learn like a child in nature, where it observes the forest, an animal, the sea, etc., and tries to understand.

AUDIO: Description of the basics of Samkhya philosophy

Description of the basics of Samkhya philosophy. This seminar lasts 2-3 hours, depending on the group:

It is generally not easy to describe Samkhya to the layperson, and it requires the curiosity described above, which is without a specific intention. It fundamentally revolves around the following points:

  1. How the forefathers of Yoga differentiated between the material and non-material thousands of years ago.

  2. How the relationship between the material and non-material affects nature and especially our human nature.

  3. The Tattvas: Breakdown of our material possibilities and limitations, our senses or sensory organs in relation to our environment and their influences. This is again in relation to the non-material aspect of nature.

  4. Some Samkhya Karikas (Verses) and their description.
