ABOUT CHAKRA PSYCHOLOGY & SWADYAYA

Chakra psychology & Swadyaya is not an ordinary yoga school in the classical sense. We primarily conduct workshops where participants primarily apply the knowledge from yoga philosophy in their lives. Occasionally, exercises from traditional yoga are also introduced.

Nevertheless, physical yoga with its breath and physical exercises, including meditation, should not be neglected. Therefore, we encourage participants to receive instruction in it from a skilled and well-trained yoga teacher of your region.

Christophe

I am 53 years old, and during my training in India, I personally experienced the positive effects of Swadhyaya (Chakra Psychology) in healing complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). Swadyaya allowed me to ebserve my life in an objective (truthful) light. It provided me with a way out of self-condemnation and self-contempt. It almost always felt as a blessing, and the pain associated with the truth, the frustration, and the justified anger were never really too much for me.

I grew up in a dysfunctional family, in boarding school, and as a child and teenager, I was exposed to neglect, profound loneliness, and psychological and physical abuse. This left scars and damages, which were repeatedly exploited as an adult, especially in my culture. A place where in my view, the weaknesses of others are kept highlighted, and one's own are way too much denied. Those at the bottom are kept down, usually for a lifetime.

I feel and understand the pain of people with such a background, the terrible loneliness, and the feeling of exclusion.

With my work, I aim to reach out to those who are affected by such situations and bring such people together so that they can be understood and no longer feel alone. With Yoga & Swadyaya, I hope to offer a way out, the same way it revealed itself to me.

I am also a yoga teacher, specializing in the therapeutic approach to yoga science*. Using body postures** and breathing exercices, I strive to have a positive impact on the psyche and mind.

My references:

*I personally see yoga as a science.

**The earlier in life someone is affected by trauma, the worse it is. As a child, our communication is limited, and as a toddler, we have (almost) no verbal communication. The toddler understands and communicates with their body and with yoga, we attempt to correct negative influences. In a sense, we aim to help where verbal conversation reaches its limits.

Alicia

My name is Alicia Casas Vallve, and I am the fourth daughter of a family of Spanish immigrants. Unlike Christophe, I do not have formal yoga training. However, we do a lot in the field together, especially Swadyaya (chakra psychology), which provides a strong foundation for our work.

Swadyaya, or chakra psychology, was something that literally stunned me. It was the missing key to the door that unveiled the reality of my past and existence without veils. Swadyaya revealed a tremendous amount of manipulation and deception that had blinded me, ultimately exposing the whole truth.

How it feels for a person to be lost, abandoned, hopeless, and with no way out, full of self-doubt and self-criticism. I know that all too well. What it's like to endure beatings, terror, terrifying loneliness, psychological and physical violence, blackmail, severe criticism, accusations, and coercion of one's children. And due to threats, there's no way out, no help from the environment either. Because the blame for everything is placed on you; you are made to believe that you are responsible for everything, which in the end I even came to be convinced of myself.

Despite all that, I always had a strange feeling back then that something wasn't quite right. Swadyaya showed and proved who and what sinister game was being played with me, and it continues to be played with 3 of my 4 children. It was so unbelievable and malicious that I couldn't believe it back then, somehow couldn't accept it for self-preservation. Nevertheless, it was true, and chakra psychology as well as a support center for victims of violence provided irrefutable proof.

This realization opened up a beautiful life, and anyone who wants to can join in, as long as my boundaries are respected.

My progress is particularly evident in the fact that, before encountering Swadyaya, I had to answer nearly every question on the questionnaire on our website with a "YES." Thanks to Chakra Psychology, this has completely changed, and now I can honestly and sincerely answer almost every question with a "NO."

Because I no longer want to trade my life filled with freedom, respect, joy, empathy, without stress, guilt, and remorse, my love with Christophe or kind & positive friends for anything. A life to which everyone, you included, has the right to live. It is also what Christophe and I wish for everyone who wants to be honest with others and themselves.

Many may be afraid to make a change, but I can only say that I feel reborn and would do it all over again at any time! Thanks god!
